Studio 16

Galería de la Raza’s Studio 16 will house the Exhibition Gallery and Flexible Multi-Use Venue, spaces that will showcase our visual arts and performance arts programs.

Currently, the site is under construction.

As of April 2022, the site structure has been built (the core, warm-shell) and Galería is launching the tenant improvements that finalize the use of the spaces. 

Exhibition Gallery:

Studio 16’s exhibition gallery is designed as a highly flexible visual art gallery to accommodate various 2 and 3 dimensional mediums, projection and sound wired for demanding needs, and other specifications necessary for exhibits of varying sizes.

Flexible Multi-Use Venue:

The multi-use venue is designed as a highly flexible space for both in-house performance or multimedia showcase use as well as a rental facility for community non-profit partnerships and private sector and/or corporate rentals. This flexible venue allows for intimate event spaces or larger events with a maximum capacity of 480 people standing or 140 seats.
