For the past 25 years, Lunada Literary Lounge has gathered on the full moon to honor spoken word, poetry, musica, and literatura. On Lunada’s silver anniversary, Galería will instead gather under the new moon, holding three seasonal gatherings on April 17, June 14, and October 10, 2026.
Although shrouded in darkness, the new moon signifies new beginnings, limitless possibilities, and rejuvenation.This lunar phase allows us to set intentions with a blank slate, and give ourselves and our community moments to re-energize with art and the words of our community
