Galería de la Raza invites you to attend the opening of From Fertile Lands Birthing Women Made of Flowers a duo exhibition featuring 2023-2024 ReGen Artist Fund grantees Paola de la Calle and Sarai Montes. Presenting their individual projects, Entre Nosotras and Corazón de la Revolución respectively, De la Calle and Montes honor the women whose strength, defiance, and vision have shaped both history and our local community. This exhibition connects multimedia and printmaking to explore the links between culture, heritage, and resistance. It celebrates the lands and traditions that have given rise to generations of leaders, fighters, and revolutionaries. Join us on International Women’s Day for opening night to celebrate the enduring power of these women as their legacies continue to bloom.
