El Niño: Chaos and Destruction

“…After the birth of the beast with 225, 187 and 209 on its forehead…nature unleashes her children…El Niño…Chaos and Destruction.”

Juried by the ReGeneration Advisory Board and Galería’s Executive Director, Gloria Jaramillo, this exhibition was part of Galería's ReGeneration Project. It highlighted the work of nine emerging Latino artists, which explored the "El Niño" as a trope that replicates the anti-immigration policies that affect immigrant life in California.
