Jesús Abad is a respected Colombian photojournalist. He was born in Medellín, Colombia. He is a reportero for the newpaper EL COLOMBIANO since 1992. His phoyos have been publiched in magazines and research studies. He is the co-author of "Relatos e Imágenes, el desplazamiento forzado en Colombia" (Testimonies and Images of the Forced Displacement in Colombia).
His photos have also been exhibited in Medellín, Bogotá, Armenia, Lima, Havana, Buenos Aires and in several cities in the US.
