Janjaap Dekker is an award winning photographer. Through years of travel and creating stories He studied at the Delft Institute of Technology in the Netherlands under the graphic designer Wim Crouwel.
He has received several awards, such as the Golden Light print competition (1997), the Gordon Parks Photo Contest (1998), New California Media Award(1998 and 1999).
He is Director of Photography and staff photographer for El Andar Magazine.
